Laura Lavoie, MS, LPC
I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples. I am passionate about empowering others to make the difficult changes they desire in order to grow emotionally and live meaningful lives. During our sessions, we will explore your goals, values, dreams, passions, and fears. I will help you identify the barriers (mental, emotional, physical) to living the life you want and help guide you to create the experience you want in the world. I believe therapy should not be a painful experience, rather a healing one. Though therapy can be a difficult process, it should also be a hopeful and exciting one. Laughter and tears often go together as we let go of what no longer serves us and move toward what we value most. My approach is guided by my bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in counseling psychology as well as six years treating eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and personality disorders in outpatient and hospital settings. For the past four years, I have worked as a primary therapist at the Eating Recovery Center’s Partial Hospitalization Program. I use a client-centered approach, focused on your individual needs to help you make powerful changes in your life. In our sessions, we will identify ways to help you connect to your values and goals and become less dependent on unhealthy coping skills to manage negative emotions and stress. I am trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy).

Licensed Professional Counselor
Beth Letourneau, MA, RYT
I provide individual and family counseling for children, adolescents, and adults struggling with eating disorders, disordered eating, and related issues. I utilize a whole person approach and believe that true recovery involves healing on all levels – physical, emotional, psychological, relational, and even spiritual.
I worked at Children’s Hospital Colorado in the Eating Disorders Program for 6 years before starting my private practice. I have been volunteering at The Eating Disorder Foundation for over 7 years, and I am Research Committee Co-Chair for the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals Denver Metro Chapter.
I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher and offer the option of incorporating yoga in therapy sessions. Additionally, I offer art as a means to explore issues and complement the healing process. As a former gymnast and gymnastics coach, I understand the unique demands of athletes and know the importance of tailoring your treatment with your sport in mind. The journey to recovery is as individual as each person, and my goal is to support you in creating a personalized path to a lasting recovery and a values-driven, meaningful life.
