Anna Heling, MSW, LCSW
Hey there! I’m Anna and I’m a couples and individual therapist in private practice in the Denver metro area. While I initially pursued journalism in college, I quickly realized the part of journalism I loved the most was getting to know people and hearing the depth and intimacy of their stories. And so the switch from journalism to the therapy world doesn’t seem that far of a leap to me!
I have a lot of fun working with couples (despite not all sessions feeling that way), and consider it a great privilege to walk so intimately alongside others who – at the end of the day – are just trying to connect, be heard, and be seen.
My roots are in Wisconsin soil (I’m a Packers fan through and through), and I hope to never lose the remnants of my Midwestern accent.
Outside of work, you can find me escaping as often as I can to Colorado’s natural playgrounds to hike, catch another sunrise, and marvel at the amount of stars outside city limits, or simply staying put with a good book.

Margaret Piper, PhD

My name is Dr. Margaret (“Maggie”) Piper and I was born and raised in Miami, FL. I grew up playing competitive soccer and went on to play collegiately at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. After my freshman year, I left the collegiate sports world and went onto build my identity and passions in other areas of life–including psychology.

My experiences as a Division I student-athlete and navigating a world driven by diet culture and the thin ideal largely shaped my desire to dive into the counseling world with a focus on eating disorders.

I have lived in Colorado for three years with my partner and our dogs (Dexter and Mabel—you will see them throughout the website and sometimes as guest appearances in the background of a telehealth session). Hiking, winter sports, cooking for friends, DIY projects, exploring Denver’s coffee shops and music venues, reading, and trying to keep plant children thriving, are what keep me energized and fulfilled.

Meghan Montgomery, MA, LPC, LPCC

My desire to advocate for justice and healing in creative, supportive ways led me to Adler University in Chicago, where I completed my master’s degree in Counseling & Art therapy. While in school, I practiced as a therapist-intern for organizations focused on community engagement, providing support and access to care for underrepresented populations. I graduated in 2015 and moved to California to complete my post-degree licensure training in sexual trauma, addictions, and eating disorder treatment.

I am currently licensed to practice in California and Colorado.

I have experience and training in Art therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and more. Together, we will use these theories in session to look at your personal goals, uncover which pieces work for you, and leave the rest on the shelf.I always treat body image and eating disorders from a Heath At Every Size lens- accepting all bodies and providing education on how body size is not a functional determination of health or disorder.

I am currently training as a Certified ADHD Professional (ADHD-CCSP).On a normal day, I practice my humanness— trying to make room for self-care, walking with my aging pup, exploring new places with my partner, changing my hair color, or making messes with art and home projects.
