Michael was born in Denver and raised in the Castle Rock area. He earned a BA in Liberal Arts and Philosophy from Saint Thomas Theological College, STB, Teaching Degree from the Gregorian University, Rome Italy, and a Master of Arts from the University of Saint Anselm in Theology. He brings over 25 years of experience in the non-profit arena, including serving as the Director of Development for Colorado Ballet, Colorado Music Festival, Colorado AIDS Project, PATH International, and Historic Denver. Michael was a founding member of the Parker Arts, Culture and Events (PACE) Center. He has also served as President for the AIDS Memorial Quilt-Colorado Chapter, Howard Dental Center, Colorado Youth Symphony Orchestras, and is currently a board member for the Baroque Chamber Orchestra of Colorado. Michael enjoys relaxing by playing his double Flemish harpsichord. He and his significant other, Joe, are frequent visitors to Santa Fe, New Mexico where they enjoy Opera, Chamber Music and visits to Canyon Road art galleries.
