Thank you to everyone who is involved with EDF for creating such a welcoming, healing community. – K.D.
Dani was raised in Boulder, CO and graduated from Fairview High School. She received her B.A. in International Relations from the Interdisciplinary Center in Israel and her M.A. in Transpersonal Counseling from Naropa University in Boulder. After witnessing her sister’s horrific battle with an eating disorder, Dani knew she would someday find herself working in this field. For Dani, this work is personal. Today she is dedicated to serving others who face similar battles and strives to serve this community with dignity, compassion, support, care, and advocacy. In her spare time Dani can be found with family and friends, doing yoga, listening to podcasts, or traveling the world. She gets her energy in meeting new people, gathering new experiences and seeing different cultures. She is thrilled to be part of the EDF family and looks forward to connecting with anyone and everyone who walks through our doors.
Sabrina has lived in Boulder for the past 7 years. She previously worked as an Event Coordinator while completing her B.A. in Psychology, with a minor in Nutrition from Metropolitan State University of Denver. As a child, Sabrina’s family traveled to places such as Saudi Arabia, Japan, Thailand and Australia before settling down in Florida. Before leaving, Sabrina spent 2 years working at an in-patient eating disorder treatment center in Tampa, providing hope and support from her own experience struggling from an eating disorder. In January of 2017, Sabrina excitedly started as an intern at EDF, before transitioning into her current role. She is passionate and determined about continuing her education so she can further help to prevent and eliminate eating disorders while give hope to those still struggling. In her downtime, she loves cuddling up to a book with her Chihuahua Buttercup and finding new places to hike in the mountains.
