- Are you the parent of a child with an eating disorder?
- Do you blame yourself for your child’s illness and/or struggles?
- Does this self-blame weigh you down?
Join us for an experiential workshop where you will have the opportunity to release some of the pain of parental self-blame. Facilitated by Dr. Adele Lafrance and rooted deeply in compassion, this workshop will involve individual and group exercises to move through the guilt and shame that often surface when supporting a child with an eating disorder, no matter their age.
Dr. Adele Lafrance is an Associate Professor of Psychology from Ontario, Canada. She is a clinical psychologist and co-developer of Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). As founding co-director of Mental Health Foundations, Dr. Lafrance provides consultation and training for clinicians, school boards and mental health agencies worldwide.
