About the Facilitators:
Christina Marie is the host of Body Positive Events Denver. Christina was inspired to share her eating disorder recovery story with others in a creative way after overcoming a ten year battle with anorexia nervosa. Her mental health awareness events are an opportunity for individuals to love themselves completely physically, mentally, and spiritually. She loves to share her mantras for self love, create safe spaces for self care, and show you how to overcome adversity in your body/mind through yoga, workshops, and public speaking engagements.
Jamie Kuttenkuler started yoga to complement training for half marathons and other running events. She found so many benefits from yoga that she quickly replaced running with a daily yoga practice. Jamie’s first love was hot yoga, and she completed her 60-hour Yoga Pod Hot Teacher Training & Immersion in December, 2015. She enjoyed teaching so much that she completed her 200-hour certification with Kindness in December, 2016.
Jamie’s classes are alignment-focused and fun. She loves connecting with her students and encouraging them to breathe through a difficult pose.
Jamie lives in downtown Denver with her husband and mini-schnauzer Madchen. When she’s not practicing yoga, you can find her reading, playing her bass guitar, or enjoying one of the many outdoor activities available in the area.
