This year’s theme is “Unifying through Community & Connection”
Hello friends and supporters of great causes –
It just so happens that the Oscars fall within Eating Disorders Awareness Week, on March 2nd. Why not support our education, support, and advocacy efforts while you wait to see if your favorite movie or actor will win?
The spotlight is on, and the stage is set for a blockbuster event! We’ve partnered with Thropic Games to bring you the ultimate “Gaming for Good” challenge—where your picks could be award-winning!
Test your Hollywood knowledge, make predictions, and compete for a cash prize while supporting The Eating Disorder Foundation’s mission to be an effective resource in the prevention and elimination of eating disorders through education, support, and advocacy.
This is your official Movie Awards invitation—don’t miss your chance to shine. Stay tuned for the grand premiere!
Here’s how it works:
- Click on this link now until the red carpet event starts to make your picks.
- Enter your email address and pick the best answers that you think will happen. Do your research! Then submit your challenge.
- This will take you to the donation page. Donation to play is $20.
50% of entry fees go to EDF. 50% goes to the winner of the game! Simple math proves how powerful this concept is….if 1,000 friends of EDF participate in this pool, EDF will receive $10,000 in passive donations – and one winner goes home with $10,000!
Invite all your friends and family to participate by sharing this email or link to the pool! The more participants, the more donations to EDF! So please share with everyone you know who likes to have fun, create social impact with their dollars (it’s only $20!), and have a chance to win some cash.
Thank you all. We hope you find this fun!

Social Saturdays are lowkey hangouts held at EDF for community members to engage with a planned activity and be in good company. Think of Social Saturdays as a way to connect with both self and others through a creative medium.

We know you because we’ve been you
Are you seeking support from someone who understands what you are going through? Through EDF’s mentorship program, we will match you with a mentor who has walked the path and understands the complexity of the recovery journey. This 10-week program will provide one-on-one support during weekly connections. We strongly believe in the power of connection, meaningful conversations, and creating a community of like-minded individuals – factors we attribute to living a life in/towards recovery. We welcome individuals 16+ from all states in the US. Pairs may meet virtually or in person.
We at EDF are absolutely blown away by the massive interest in our blossoming mentorship program. We have received an unprecedented number of applications from members of the community who want to pursue recovery with us.
Please note that this program has a limited number of available mentors, so there is no guarantee you will be paired. Mentee applicants not accepted this round may re-apply next quarter. You must be at least 16 years of age and a resident of the United States to apply.
How do I apply?
Please view application instructions at https://www.eatingdisorderfoundation.org/get-help/request-a-mentor/
